SUMMARY


Responsible for working with account team in processing renewals, conducting and analyzing marketing, preparing financial summaries and providing general technical support for assigned accounts.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Exhibits proven competence in all Analyst II duties and knowledge requirements;


Manages responsibilities for existing self-funded accounts, including vendor renewals and marketing, reporting and all other duties common to self-funded and fully-insured accounts;


Coordinates with the Underwriting department for self-insured forecasts and modeling projects (i.e. migration modeling, reserve calculations, significant plan change modeling, etc.);


Possesses ability to present project results to client, including individual and committee meeting settings;


Provides basic plan design change modeling in software tools provided (must exhibit competency in software and application of results);


Provides mentoring to team members as needed;


Initiates standard presentations in collaboration with Account Executive, including providing consultative
feedback to account team regarding client deliverables;


Assists Producer in support role for prospective business projects;


Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);


Other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience


Two (2) or more years related work experience


Valid insurance license (or must be obtained within 90 days of employment)


Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal


Exhibit proficiency in Underwriting basics: pass Underwriting 201 and 301 classes


Exhibit proficiency in Pharmacy Benefit Managers: pass PBM 101


Exhibit proficiency in Stop Loss Insurance: pass Stop Loss 101
