Workers' Compensation Claims Assistant

Great West Casualty Company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Workers' Compensation Claims Assistant to provide administrative support to our Workers' Compensation Claims team. In this role, you will be a critical partner to Claims Adjusters, helping ensure claim files are accurate, organized, and processed efficiently while delivering outstanding service to internal and external customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong administrative and communication skills, and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

As a Workers' Compensation Claims Assistant, you will provide administrative and operational support throughout the life of a claim. Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting Workers' Compensation Adjusters with day-to-day claim administration.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and processing claim-related correspondence and documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate and well-organized claim files.
  • Entering and updating claim information in various systems with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, reports, and claim-related records.
  • Monitoring claim activities and assisting with follow-up items to help ensure timely claim handling.
  • Assisting with document requests, state filings, and other administrative duties.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Administrative, clerical, insurance, claims, legal, healthcare, or related office experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience working with confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
