When a hurricane, tornado, or other catastrophe strikes, it can feel like the end of the world for our customers.
What youll do
As a Co-op within our Corporate CAT Risk Assessment Group, youll work with catastrophe modeling software, data collection, and other tools to discover new processes and techniques to help our customers get back on their feet.
This six-month co-op will challenge you with real-world projects and hands-on trainingall while being mentored by leaders and experts in the field of risk management.
QualificationsWhat youve got
- You must be available to work full-time from January June 2027.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future. We will not sponsor employment visas. Candidates who will require future sponsorship, including candidates on CPT/OPT/STEM OPT who will require future sponsorship, are not eligible to apply.
- You have 0-2 years of professional experience.
- You are an undergraduate working towards a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Finance, & Data Analytics , or related field with a strong academic record; cumulative 3.0 GPA preferred.
- You are familiar with information systems, software applications, and analyzing quantitative information.
- You are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- You possess strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role isdeterminedbya number offactors including skills, experience, education,certificationsand location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market andprovidesan opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factorsset forth inthe compensation plan for the role.
